The Calling all Rodders website was created to provide a one stop place for the local community to have a complete listing of the local car events scheduled for Erie and surrounding areas. This site is monitored and updated by Annette Diemer and is done as a service to the local car enthusiasts. Anyone can get information from this site without being a member. Any car event in the area is welcome to send in their event information for publishing on the Calendar of Events page. You do not have to be a member to have your event listed on the calendar. back to top How do I become a member of Calling All Rodders followers? To become a posted member on the Local Cruisers Page, all you have to do is contact me at annette@callingallrodders.com and pay a one time $20.00 fee. This fee will cover the cost of updates to the members page and give you a web presence to connect with other Cruisers in the area. A digital photo is needed of your car and a short summary describing your car. Your first name as owner and email address can be added if you would like to be contacted by other cruisers. These names will or email addresses will not be sold to soliciting company. back to top How do I add my event to your Calendar of Events page? Car events are listed for FREE. We prefer and Email with your information sent to annette@callingallrodders.com In your email provide the following: 1. Name of your event. 2. Where it is to be held …include Name ,address, and zip code of the facility. 3. Time and cost of registration if any, any information about pre registration. 4. If Proceeds for any charity or to benefit an individual that information should be included. 5. Any special appearances or entertainment that will be provided. Will your event have vendors or food concessions. 6. Include a rain date for your event with any special instructions that date might entail. 7. Your event will be listed within 48 hours of receipt of your information. We will reply to your email with , “ Your event has been listed” return email. Please check your posted information and contact us with and corrections ASAP we strive to have correct listings. back to top How do I include my Car Club or Organization on your list of Car Clubs? This listing is FREE. Please send your club information to me with a complete mailing address for your club and a contact person and telephone number and email address if applicable. back to top Why is my event not on the gallery photo page? At the present time we are the only one taking pictures for this page. If we happen to get to your event we will provide at least 6 photos of your event to the gallery page for our followers to see. With so many events posted on this site is very difficult for us to get to every show. We welcome you as a member to add your event show pictures to this page at no cost.. You can send up to 6 jpeg formatted digital photos to us to post. If you would like to have your event added to this gallery and you are not a member the cost is $30.00. This is to cover the maintenance of the site page. Please provide a short caption for each picture submitted and number photos and captions accordingly. back to top Why does the “Cruise The Bay” event have their own page? In 2008, we were asked by Jack & Judy Miller the organizers of Cruise the Bay in Erie, to become a web presence provider for this event. This event is one that my husband and I attended frequently. They always provide a family oriented event and help the local charities. This year, being our local, Make A Wish Foundation with their 50/50 drawings they have each Monday night thru out the summer. We decided to become a part of this team and volunteer our time to them for the worthy cause. back to top Why would I want to add my Business to the Car Related Business Directory? In today’s technical world it is vital to businesses to have web presence. To have your business listed on as many sites as possible gets the word out about your business to many potential customers. Our site provides this web presence at an affordable cost to you the business owner. Being a website about car cruising we have your target customers already looking for the best businesses in the area for their car needs. Don’t let that potential customer fill their need elsewhere! Join us today with your Business Services. back to top How do I advertise on the Car Related business Directory? There are two ways to get web presence on our Car Related Business page. The first is a 12 month advertisement the cost being $120.00 per year paid at the beginning of your listing. Your ad will run one year from the month you start your ad. This will be paid thru Pay pal and will be renewed each year automatically unless you contact us before your expiration date. Example 10-01-10 goes to 10-01-11 and renewed automatically unless we are notified in writing. The second way is : Once you have ordered and paid for an ad with us for the year, you can add a more complete summary of your business services and buy a full page ad for the cost of $200.00 for one year. This page will be linked to your original small business card ad on the Business Directory. This page will contain 5 digital photos in jpeg format provided by you. These need to be sent to us in an email. The first photo will be of your business store front. The next four are of your choice. Please provide a caption for each photo. back to top How do I get my event written about on your “Blog?” At the present time we only Blog about the events we have attended. Because of the amount of event listing we get listed on the site it is impossible for us to attend all these events. Occasionally, we will Blog about a Business or Special Event or Special Person we have met in the Car Related World. This is a matter of choice by us to promote or comment on that particular subject. back to top How can we contact you?
